Francis is known for his unique brand of camera work and lighting style. He has photographed two independent feature films, Primal Instinct and Downward Angel , which were released theatrically and distributed to Showtime, Cinemax, and Starz.

Born and raised in the Philippines , Francis moved to Southern California in his late teens. With his unique perspective of both cultures, Francis has the ability to bring Hollywood-style filmmaking to the Philippines while introducing the very unique and unseen facet of the Filipino culture to the West.
