She gained further filmmaking experience from New York University where she received a certificate in film production. She co-wrote and co-directed Sirena , a short film that was screened in the Thessaloniki International Film Festival in Greece . She managed the production of Cleanse which won a Gawad CCP Award for Alternative Film and Video in the Philippines .

She has conceptualized and produced numerous segments for Philippine television programs such as The Kikay Machine , Review Night , Access, Digital Tour , Sa Totoo Lang and Trial of the Century . She has been a part of the San Beda College Alabang and has lectured on Communication and Media Studies.

Donna May has been invited as guest speaker for the University of the Philippines Masters in Business Administration class and at the Lyceum of the Philippines .
